Role Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develop and implement business/territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and maintain customer engagement using digital tools.
- Use internal reports and analytics to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly leverage product and disease-state knowledge using approved clinically oriented resources.
- Demonstrate market knowledge and identify barriers/drivers across channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues (e.g., Field Medical, Account Management) to address inquiries and advance objectives.
- Complete administrative requirements on time (calls, expenses, requests from leadership).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or high school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years relevant experience).
- Experience in Professional Sales/Promotional Activity, small business ownership/entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); educator experience; or full-time military experience.
- Live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year pharmaceutical/biotech medical sales or medical-related marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; territory management; communications; teamwork/leadership/accountability.
- Vaccines therapeutic area/product experience.
- Knowledge of posted territory customers/markets.
- Reside within territory boundaries.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Annual base salary: $76,000–$199,600; quarterly Sales Incentive bonus; overtime during initial training; 401(k) with matching and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
