Role Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
- Engage with customers face-to-face and virtually
- Develop and execute business/territory call plans; implement live/virtual engagement strategies
- Build rapport/relationships using digital tools to maintain customer engagement
- Use internal reports/analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
- Apply product and disease-state knowledge using approved, clinically oriented information/resources
- Demonstrate market knowledge; identify barriers and drivers across relevant channels
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Field Medical, Account Management) to address inquiries and advance objectives
- Complete administrative requirements (e.g., call entry, expenses, requests from leadership)
Qualifications (Basic):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years relevant experience (or Associate’s + 6+ years; or HS + 8+ years) in: Professional Sales/Promotion; small business/entrepreneurship; marketing, customer service, and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN/Pharmacist/PT/OT); educator; or full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years
Preferred:
- 1+ year pharma/biotech/medical sales or medical marketing
- Vaccines therapeutic area/product experience
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets
- Reside within territory boundaries
