Role Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and relationships in live/virtual environments; use digital tools to maintain customer engagement.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly leverage product and disease state knowledge using approved clinically oriented information and patient resources.
- Demonstrate market knowledge by uncovering barriers and drivers across relevant channels (Public Health, Private Market, Retail, etc.).
- Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional colleagues (including Field Medical and Account Management) to address inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete administrative expectations on time (e.g., entering customer calls, submitting expenses, responding to requests).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience in professional sales/promotional activity, small business ownership/entrepreneurial, marketing/customer service/account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), educator, or full-time military experience; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years.
- Live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or medical-related marketing.
- Vaccines therapeutic area/product experience.
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Reside within territory boundaries.
Other Job Details:

- Annual base salary: $76,000–$199,600; initial training is salary non-exempt (overtime eligible), then overtime exempt.
- Quarterly Sales Incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits (401(k) with matching, retirement contributions, paid vacation/holidays/personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and medical/prescription/dental/vision).
- Relocation assistance may be available.
