The Position
- Support and improve facility maintenance: preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and new equipment installation
- Support/participate in plant shutdowns for Facilities & Utility equipment
- Coach and participate in A3/3C problem solving; support training for junior team members

Essential Functions
- Maintain plantwide refrigeration systems; perform corrective/preventive maintenance
- Execute site rounds and independent equipment/utilities inspections
- Document maintenance activities in SAP and communicate via shift turnover reports
- Partner with process owners to improve equipment performance/reliability
- Maintain housekeeping; drive continuous improvement using cLEAN concepts
- Support maintenance procedures/plans/spare parts lists; instruct technicians in specialized areas
- Work rotating shifts, including nights/extended shifts/weekends as needed
- Lead Root Cause Analysis using Systematic Problem Solving (SPS)
- Participate in shutdown planning/execution
- Interpret mechanical/electrical specifications, drawings, and technical data; support installation/commissioning/qualification/training for site utilities systems and controls
- Follow safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications
- Associateโ€™s degree in a relevant field (required) OR High School/GED with 6+ years experience
- 4+ years experience with mechanical, electrical and/or control systems (required)
- Preferred: lead/guide technicians; SAP/CMMS experience; systematic data/fact-based troubleshooting; participation in driven event response
- Required: read schematics/wiring diagrams and technical documents; computer literacy; plan/organize work and revise based on daily work plan
- Technician: electronic batch records; automated process equipment and/or BMS/FMS; knowledge of compressed air, plant steam, vacuum, chilled water, RO/pretreatment; WFI and clean steam preferred; proficiency in utility systems (e.g., purified water, process air, chemical storage, waste, chilled/clean-dirty steam, high pressure air, vacuum, air handling); Refrigeration/HVAC with emphasis on ammonia preferred

Physical Requirements
- Lift/move up to 33 lbs; be on feet up to 12 hours; may require ladders/elevated work, gloves, confined space work, cold environments, loud noise with hearing protection, and outdoor weather; pass powered industrial truck driving exam (no valid driverโ€™s license required).
