Role Summary
This position is part of the US Commercial Finance organization and will support a range of financial activities for the enterprise. Specifically, the role requires an experienced Finance leader with deep strategic and technical acumen who will help the US Pet Health Marketing and Digital teams execute on strategic objectives and support the broader transformation agenda.
Responsibilities
- Support all planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for the US Pet Health Marketing + Digital organizations
- Support monthly closing process and ensure adherence to financial and accounting policies
- Support financial planning and forecasting process (e.g., Strategic Plan, Business Plan, Quarterly Forecasts) to ensure a timely, high quality submission
- Drive ad-hoc business cases and projects which have enterprise impact
- Key Activities Include: Monthly Sales Reporting, Margin / Profitability Analysis, OPEX Management, F-Cycle Leadership
- Serve as primary Finance lead for Vice President β Digital Transformation and Vice President β US Pet Health Marketing
- Support CFO β US Pet Health in preparation of financial reviews with Corporate Finance team + Commercial Business Partners
- Provide financial insights & recommendations via business case development and other strategic analyses to help organization make informed decisions and achieve superior results
- Partner with the analytics group to continuously improve organizationβs analytics capability with standardized / automated / efficient reporting
- Support process improvement and automation through the effective use of the financial reporting suite of tools β drive best practice and standardization across the organization
- Take an active role in cross-departmental projects as required
Qualifications
- Required: Education β Bachelor and/or Master degree in Finance / Accounting
- Required: 5 β 10 years of experience in financial planning / forecasting / reporting projects or processes, with a publicly traded company
- Required: Strong understanding of S4 ERP System and BPC Financial Consolidations Platform
- Preferred: Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, reporting, and acumen to understand and meet business stakeholder needs
- Preferred: Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with commercial business partners and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Preferred: Personal accountability and strong drive for execution
