Main Responsibilities:
- Lead US HEOR strategy and execution for Oncology and Rare therapeutic areas across indications, ensuring generation, translation, and dissemination of high-quality, decision-relevant evidence to impact US access.
Strategic Business Impact:
- Drive measurable business impact through strategic US HEVA initiatives supporting US commercial objectives and market access goals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive US HEVA strategies aligned with Global HEVA strategy.
- Partner with commercial teams to translate HEVA insights into actionable business strategies.
- Drive development of business-relevant US research agendas via cross-functional input.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the US Oncology and Rare HEVA team; foster excellence, innovation, and impact.
- Drive organizational change and process improvements; represent HEVA with franchise leadership.
Internal Partnerships and Senior Engagement:
- Partner cross-functionally to support pricing/access decisions and brand strategies with robust evidence (including real-world evidence).
- Present and communicate complex health economics concepts and recommendations to senior leadership; influence decisions using data-driven HEVA insights.
Health Economics Research and Evidence Generation:
- Oversee design, execution, publication, and dissemination of health economics and outcomes research studies.
- Develop real-world evidence strategies for product lifecycle management; ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic HEVA input into Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs); lead compliant HEOR dissemination/application with US stakeholders (e.g., HCEI, PIE).
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Access Strategy, and Market Access on payer studies, analytics, and evidence use.
Stakeholder/External Partnerships:
- Build relationships with payers, HTA bodies, and academic institutions; represent Sanofi at scientific conferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 yearsβ experience in health economics, outcomes research, or related field.
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant field required.
- Expertise in health economic modeling, real-world evidence, and outcomes research methods.
- Deep US healthcare/payer/policy expertise; track record translating evidence into strategic impact and supporting market access/reimbursement.
- Strong US evidence dissemination (HCEI/PIE, reactive/proactive, CFL, AMCP dossiers).
- Exceptional leadership, change management, cross-functional influence, and English communication.
- Extensive oncology or rare therapeutic area experience.
