Main Responsibilities
- Lead US HEOR strategy and execution for Immunology and Neurology Therapeutic Areas (TAs) across indications, ensuring generation, translation, and dissemination of high-quality, decision-relevant evidence to impact US access.
- Drive measurable business impact through strategic US HEVA initiatives aligned with US commercial and market access objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive US HEVA strategies aligned with Global HEVA strategy.
- Partner with commercial teams to translate HEVA insights into actionable business strategies.
- Lead US HEVA team: provide exceptional leadership, mentor/develop team members, and drive organizational change/process improvements; represent HEVA with US franchise leadership teams.
- Build cross-functional partnerships to support pricing/access decisions and brand strategies with robust evidence (including real-world evidence).
- Present and communicate complex health economics concepts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership; influence key business decisions.
- Oversee design, execution, publication, and dissemination of health economics and outcomes research; develop real-world evidence strategies and ensure scientific rigor/regulatory compliance.
- Lead launch strategy and evidence generation planning, including input into Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs).
- Support HEOR dissemination/application (e.g., HCEI/PIE) and payer partnership studies/analytics aligned to franchise priorities.
- Build external stakeholder relationships (payers, HTA bodies, academic institutions); represent at conferences; collaborate with KOLs; engage with external evidence bodies (e.g., ICER, PDAB, IRA).
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in health economics, outcomes research, or related field.
- PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in health economics/epidemiology/public health/economics or related field required.
- Expertise in health economic modeling, real-world evidence, and outcomes research methodologies.
- Deep US healthcare/payer/policy expertise with evidence-to-impact track record.
- Proven market access/reimbursement support using HEVA evidence; strong US evidence dissemination knowledge (HCEI/PIE, reactive/proactive, CFL, AMCP dossiers).
- Exceptional leadership and change management; strong cross-functional influence/collaboration.
- Extensive Immunology or Neurology therapeutic area experience.
- Strong English communication and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
