Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and navigate account-level challenges; deliver thoughtful, compliant solutions.
- Develop and execute HCP and account-level business plans based on shared priorities (clinical insight, access needs, operations).
- Educate HCPs and practice teams on non-clinical barriers to care, including access and reimbursement tools for ultra-rare diseases.
- Support timely treatment initiation and continuity of care by understanding patient flow, drug acquisition, and practice dynamics.
- Collaborate with field and home-office partners; share market access insights.
- Use knowledge of the ultra-rare disease landscape, competitors, and industry trends to anticipate opportunities and evolving challenges.
- Analyze territory-level data to inform strategy, drive pull-through, and lead virtual and in-person engagements.
- Lead cross-functional planning to solve complex HCP challenges with urgency and a patient-first mindset.
- Orchestrate Novartis resources across Medical, Access, and Patient Support with omni-channel personalization.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- Experience (within last 5 years) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly structured industries with large geographically dispersed sales teams (Associate level: limited sales experience acceptable).
- Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytical problem-solving and ethical/compliant leadership.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience supporting ultra-rare/specialty diseases and access/reimbursement pathways (e.g., buy-and-bill; injectable/biologic).
- Experience across therapeutic areas, patient services, market access, reimbursement, account strategy, or new product launches.

Driving is an essential function: must have a fully valid/unrestricted driver’s license.

For Field Roles with a Dedicated Training Period:
- Complete initial training, including home study up to 8 or fewer hours/day and 40 or fewer hours/week.
