TME Director Cardiovascular Metabolism (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global project teams through the PoC phase; participate from NTRC to registration.
- Own clinical portions of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) through PoC.
- Serve as medical monitor for one or more clinical studies.
- Communicate clinical team matters to project teams and decision boards (e.g., Disease Area Decision Board).
- Convene internal/external leaders to shape PoC approach.
- Evaluate clinical centers and manage communication with collaborating investigators.
- Oversee publication and external presentation of PoC clinical study results.
- Lead compound-related biomarker strategies with biomarker experts.
- Partner with research scientists to develop/implement preclinical support strategies (medical need, clinical development pathways, review of preclinical data for clinical implications).
- Present to Health Authorities as TM Expert.
Essential Requirements:
- MD required (doctoral degree); clinical subspecialty training preferred in cardiovascular disease or endocrinology/metabolic disease.
- Additional PhD/post-doctoral research preferred.
- 1–2 years pharma/biotech/CRO/academic medical center experience (5+ years for Director level).
- Recognized medical and scientific expertise; strong track record of high-quality international publications.
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
- Independence in study planning/execution; leadership in matrix/multidisciplinary teams.
- Innovation; interest in new clinical discovery and PoC approaches.
- Preferred: advanced experience in data science, genetics/genomics, AI in clinical research, or digital/wearable health science.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
