About the role / Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and tactical vision and leadership for the Commercial training department; own learning strategy, design/development (including eLearning), and execution.
- Lead franchise training for initial field onboarding and ongoing brand/strategic initiatives.
- Own assigned sales training programs (product/clinical/managed markets & marketplace knowledge; selling and business skills), including strategy, content creation, delivery, and measurement.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop learning strategies/workshops aligned to business objectives with pull-through and measurement.
- Act as SME in adult learning; share best practices across the department.
- Facilitate training for key stakeholders (new hires, management, advanced skills, national workshops).
- Ensure training reflects current market trends and complies with internal Medical/Regulatory/Legal review.
- Coordinate and negotiate with external consultants for training/development needs.
- Manage assigned budget; coach team members; contribute to vendor and strategic partnerships.
- Implement personal development plans and embrace an agile mindset.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years life science/pharmaceutical field sales and/or marketing; ~50% travel.
- Preferred: Derm experience; Training/L&D and/or Commercial Strategy experience; IT/eLearning/Web management platform knowledge.
