Position Summary
- The Training Manager oversees Rocket’s training program, including the design, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement for all employees. Administers training within eQMS and eLMS systems and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver required training, ensuring effectiveness and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the training program per health authority guidelines, regulations, quality KPIs/compliance trends, and operational needs.
- Create/maintain training materials, curricula, and learning paths; collaborate with functional teams to ensure training compliance and periodically review curricula.
- Assess “fit for purpose” training tools/methodologies (virtual, OJT, ILT) for courses/documents.
- Create and deliver new hire and refresher training (e.g., GMP, eQMS workflows, data integrity); develop GxP and non-GxP training (GCP, GVP, GLP) as applicable.
- Provide routine eQMS workflow training, support refresher needs, and maintain training records.
- Monitor/report training compliance metrics (including overdue assignments) and support compliance in eQMS.
- Conduct training needs assessments and ensure timely design/development/scheduling/delivery.
- Support Quality Culture enhancements; lead training sessions and quality improvement events.
- Support inspections/audits related to training/QMS; write audit responses and track CAPAs to closure.
- Support QMS updates and reporting; complete other QA-assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably Life Sciences).
- 5–8 years in Quality Assurance managing training programs in regulated biopharma environments.
- eQMS/eLMS configuration & implementation experience (e.g., ZenQMS, Veeva, Trackwise, ComplianceWire).
- Training content creation; e-learning tools (e.g., “articulate storyline” for SCORM).
- Ability to design and deliver interactive training.
- Working knowledge of GxP regulations (ICH/FDA/EU) and guidelines.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong communication/organization; detail oriented.
- Collaborative, independent when needed; results-oriented; flexible; can manage multiple priorities.
- Fully onsite; travel up to 10%.
Compensation/Benefits
- Expected salary range: $122,000–$146,000.
