Training and Development Dir, Obesity and Related Conditions

What You Will Do
- Create, develop, and execute Obesity and Related Conditions Sales Training, Product Launch Support, and Commercial Operations training strategies.
- Partner with Amgen’s Learning and Performance team and Obesity and Related Conditions Business.
- Orchestrate launch readiness activities: define hiring profiles, develop manager interview guides, and build launch readiness tools, workshops, and field execution resources.
- Lead high-impact training design and facilitation; stay connected to field realities via sales calls, remote coaching, field engagement, and stakeholder partnerships.
- Own the end-to-end training and launch readiness ecosystem.

Scope & Key Accountabilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement training initiatives aligned to enterprise/functional strategies.
- Plan and lead large scale initiatives with US and Global leadership.
- Contribute to organizational leadership and strategic decisions.
- Establish and grow relationships with external leadership and customer groups.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop strategies for attracting diverse talent.
- Work with internal/external associations on national and regional relationship building.
- Integrate/create business-support training and education programs; lead internal panel discussions and teams.

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 4 years business experience; or Master’s + 8 years; or Bachelor’s + 10 years.
- 4 years managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams/projects/programs/directing resource allocation.
