Position Summary
The Trade and Distribution Director contributes to channel distribution and GPO contracting strategy and tactics. Directs strategy, tactics, and activities for assigned corporate accounts for all commercial products to meet/exceed business plan forecasts. Primary point of contact between ImmunityBio and designated corporate accounts (distribution, provider networks, and 3PL partner).
Essential Functions
- Manage day-to-day commercial distribution operations
- Partner with Supply Chain on commercial product functions (DSCSA/serialization with 3rd-party vendor such as TraceLink; manufacturing/3PL build; inbound inventory; responsibility matrix)
- Plan and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
- Manage relationships with Urology GPOs to increase market share and sales
- Establish/review/manage/update vendor partners and agreements
- Manage specialty pharmacy (SP) to ensure proper contract execution and prevent product from flowing out of institutions
- Perform ad-hoc and cross-functional duties/projects to support business needs
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field (required)
- 10+ years progressive biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience (required)
- 8+ years Market Access experience (required)
- Launch experience in rare/orphan disease, urology, or oncology (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Manage complexity/ambiguity; work independently and collaboratively
- Strong ethics and values; high integrity/accountability
- Excellent negotiation; strong verbal/written communication
- Understand governmental policies and drug access implications
- Anticipate issues; plan/organize/time manage multiple projects
Working Environment
- Remote; travel up to 50%; drive personal vehicle; motor vehicle record check and maintain required auto liability insurance
