Main Responsibilities
- Develop territory-specific sales strategies to accelerate Tzield adoption.
- Build belief in Tzield’s mechanistic rationale and clinical narrative (MOA, approved indication, efficacy/safety).
- Build in-depth knowledge of key accounts, including barriers to Tzield use; contribute to priority account strategy and execute engagement with endocrinology and primary care providers.
- For non-priority endocrinology accounts, develop and execute growth-oriented account/business plans (e.g., account/influence mapping).
- Identify and engage account champions/KOLs to communicate with peers and patients.
- Drive T1D screening awareness: educate on early detection and screening in asymptomatic/undiagnosed populations.
- Conduct territory-level planning to support the broader T1D ecosystem and prioritize time/education strategy.
- Contribute to screening strategy execution to engage PCP/pediatrics; educate on at-risk populations and screening/monitoring best practices (e.g., DKA avoidance) and the importance of urgent referrals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Sanofi teams; attend meetings as directed.
- Maintain adherence to legal/regulatory/ethical/administrative/financial duties.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales quotas.
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. required.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; account management and/or rare specialty product experience.
- Ability to use data to manage territory sales; proven success in education, provider adoption, and engagement.
- Experience launching products; matrix collaboration across sales/medical/support.
- Business acumen, solution-oriented mindset; strategic planning/execution.
- Strong communication for two-way stakeholder dialogue; high accountability.
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 80%.
