Position Summary
- The Therapeutic Sales Specialist (TS) - Baltimore / Pittsburgh maximizes product sales by communicating the value proposition of the Endocrinology portfolio to relevant stakeholders. Targets and promotes therapeutic products to endocrinologists, general practitioners, and other healthcare providers to drive business growth.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to target, penetrate, and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties (physicianโ€™s office, hospital pharmacy, OR, ICU, etc.).
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations.
- Manage hybrid engagement (70%+ in-person and virtual) to maximize efficiency.
- Use data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on highest-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage and track territory information through a CRM system.

Education and Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- At least 8 years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently; manage key account relationships.
- Demonstrated sales growth; documented track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Business acumen; ability to comprehend and articulate complex clinical information.
- Excellent organization, time management, oral and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience
- Endocrinology experience.
- Hospital sales experience (P&T/Formulary familiarity).
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.

Travel
- Up to 50% travel.
