The TAM collaborates cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to address barriers and improve patient care. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, with proven success in complex or rare disease markets, especially hepatology or gastroenterology. Strong clinical aptitude, insight-led selling skills, and experience with account-based strategies are essential. High-value specifics include specialization in rare liver diseases, working within pediatric and adult care settings, and a focus on disease education, referral pathways, and access. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-evolving environment. Travel up to 70%, including overnight and weekend commitments, is expected. The position reports to the Regional Business Director and emphasizes ethical conduct, compliance, and cross-functional teamwork.
