Key activities involve mapping influence within complex accounts, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of disease mechanisms, clinical data, and product profiles, and executing compliant promotional activities. The role emphasizes building trusted, value-driven relationships, addressing unmet needs, and navigating resistance with high emotional intelligence. The TAM supports patient journeys from diagnosis through treatment and collaborates with care teams to overcome access barriers. Qualifications include a bachelorβs degree (advanced degree preferred), 5+ years in biopharma sales, with experience in rare diseases, hepatology, or gastroenterology highly valued. Strong clinical aptitude, insight-led selling, and knowledge of reimbursement are essential. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, self-motivation, resilience, and up to 70% travel, including overnight and occasional weekend commitments. The position is field-based, focused on complex specialty care environments, with an emphasis on ethical conduct, compliance, and cross-functional teamwork.
