Role: The Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for driving business performance and patient impact in rare cholestatic liver diseases. Tasks include developing and executing territory strategies, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals across pediatric and adult hepatology and gastroenterology, and creating customized account plans that address patient journeys, decision-making, and access barriers. Responsibilities encompass clinical and account expertise, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other teams. The TAM promotes disease awareness, supports treatment initiation and persistence, and influences clinical practice change through insight-led engagement. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of progressive sales experience within the biopharma or biotech industry, ideally with rare disease, hepatology, or complex specialty care backgrounds. Demonstrated success in account-based selling, understanding of access/reimbursement, and strong clinical aptitude are essential. Experience in specialty markets, high emotional intelligence, and cross-functional teamwork are highly valued. The role demands resilience, ownership, entrepreneurial drive, and up to 70% travel, including overnight stays. The position emphasizes ethical conduct, compliance, and a patient-centered approach, operating in a fast-evolving, high-science environment.
