The TAM communicates complex scientific data, advances disease awareness, and collaborates cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to optimize patient support and access pathways. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales with a proven record in complex or rare disease markets, preferably hepatology or gastroenterology. Strong clinical aptitude, insight-led selling skills, and experience in account-based strategies are essential. High-value specifics include experience with rare diseases, high-value customer engagement, and understanding of access, reimbursement, and patient support ecosystems. The role demands resilience, emotional intelligence, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-evolving environment. Travel up to 70% required, with frequent overnight stays.
