The role demands deep clinical knowledge of rare liver diseases, mechanisms of action, and reimbursement pathways, with a focus on complex healthcare systems and multidisciplinary care teams. The TAM influences clinical decision-making through insight-led, peer-to-peer engagement, challenging inertia and fostering behavioral change. High emotional intelligence, strategic agility, resilience, and ethical conduct are essential. Qualifications include a Bachelorβs degree, 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, preferably with experience in rare diseases such as hepatology or gastroenterology, strong clinical aptitude, and account-based selling skills. The role involves up to 70% travel, including overnight stays, and requires exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.
