Role: Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) focusing on rare cholestatic liver diseases within Mirum's Liver portfolio. Objectives include driving sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact through strategic account management and customer engagement. Responsibilities encompass developing and executing territory plans aligned with regional priorities, building deep clinical expertise, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals across complex accounts such as hepatology and gastroenterology. The TAM analyzes market data, identifies high-opportunity accounts, and tailors account strategies to promote disease awareness, diagnosis, treatment consideration, and patient persistence. They engage healthcare professionals as credible peers, communicate complex clinical data effectively, and influence multiple stakeholders to address gaps in patient care pathways. Cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and other teams is essential for aligned account strategies and insight sharing. The role demands high emotional intelligence, resilience, ownership, and entrepreneurial drive in a rapidly evolving rare disease environment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, with a preference for candidates with rare disease, hepatology, or complex specialty market expertise. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical aptitude, strategic account management skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally. Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight stays, is required. The position is focused on building impactful relationships and advancing treatment options in a highly specialized therapeutic area.
