Role Summary

The Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to health care providers who prescribe and influence treatment for the dermatology portfolio, including relationships with dermatology practices, hospital accounts, and key stakeholders. Build relationships with customers to drive adoption of Lilly therapies and engage with advocacy groups, teaching institutions, influencers, and managed care organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a strong understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and utilizes appropriate business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Systematically navigates the everchanging healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
  • Actively listens and adapts to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
  • Demonstrates high learning agility to understand clinical information, product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace, and engages with every member of an office/account.
  • Promotes the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in a patient-centered dialogue with customers.
  • Utilizes the selling model prior to and during conversations with customers to help identify appropriate patients.
  • Utilizes all business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in accordance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Collaborates effectively with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€šร„รดs degree.
  • Required: Valid US driverโ€šร„รดs license and acceptable driving record.
  • Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).

Skills

  • Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
  • Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution model; selling injectable/infusion therapies in a complex reimbursement environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional partners and strong learning agility; self-motivated and collaborative.

Education

  • Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completing an undergraduate degree, or relevant graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).

Additional Requirements

  • Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
