Role: Specialty Territory Manager responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products within a designated geographic area, primarily focusing on gastroenterology. Objectives include developing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and driving product adoption.
Core responsibilities: build and maintain effective customer relationships, develop account and territory plans, analyze data to target high-prescribing healthcare professionals (HCPs), deliver compelling sales presentations, and meet or exceed sales targets. Administrative tasks and participation in training and conferences are also required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; at least 2 years of GI specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred with a successful track record. Must reside near the assigned territory, possess a valid driverβs license, and be willing to travel overnight.
Preferred skills: strong business acumen, teamwork, communication, and persistence; ability to analyze market and customer data; proficiency in product portfolio, therapeutic areas, and managed care concepts.
