Territory Manager, Eye Care – San Antonio, TX
Key responsibilities:
- San Antonio, TX territory includes San Antonio South, Corpus Christi, Edinburg, McAllen, and surrounding areas.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent Viatris’ vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and relevant disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives to field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through customer interactions and willingness to support others.
- Use territory business planning tools to identify additional opportunities.
- Manage approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales with proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities in the territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
