Territory Manager, Eye Care - Hartford, CT
Responsibilities:
- Hartford, CT territory includes New Hartford, Springfield, and Hartford, CT.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent Viatris’ vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to targeted ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Use territory business planning tools to uncover business opportunities.
- Manage approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with a successful track record; technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Must meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000.
