Key responsibilities:
- Covers the Burbank, CA territory (Burbank and Glendale).
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent Viatris vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and grow business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback to field leadership and internal partners on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Use territory business planning tools to uncover additional opportunities.
- Manage approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales with proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (combination of experience/education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed depending on territory.
- Eye care experience preferred.
- Meet access requirements for target offices and health care facilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000β$150,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
