Role Summary
Territory Manager for the Denver North Dermatology territory (CO) responsible for account-based selling to health care providers who prescribe and influence treatments within Lillyโs dermatology portfolio. Build and maintain relationships with key dermatology physicians, hospital accounts, residents, educators, and influencers; identify opportunities with state and local advocacy groups and managed care organizations. Use territory insights to drive adoption of Lilly therapies and serve as a credible expert and resource for customers. This role requires residing within the territory boundary.
Responsibilities
- Develops a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape and utilizes appropriate business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
- Systematically navigates the ever-changing healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
- Actively listens and adapts to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
- Demonstrates high learning agility to understand clinical information/disease states, our product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace, and uses this information to engage with every member of an office/account.
- Promotes the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers, and uses our selling model to help identify appropriate patients.
- Utilizes all business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and PhRMA code.
- Collaborates effectively with field-facing colleagues and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Required: Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
- Required: Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas for this role.
- Preferred: Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completion of an undergraduate college degree.
- Preferred: Other work experience following the completion of undergraduate degree, or a graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
- Preferred: Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
- Preferred: Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
- Preferred: Strong background in navigating within complex integrated health systems.
- Preferred: Extensive experience or thorough understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model.
- Preferred: Selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment.
- Preferred: History of working with multiple cross-functional partners.
- Preferred: Strong learning agility, self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent and influential.
