Position Summary:
Specialty Sales Territory Business Manager (TBM). Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, maximize sales of MannKind products within a geographic territory and drive sales growth.

Accountabilities:
- Achieve territory sales goals in full adherence to MannKind compliance policies/procedures, including FDA label-consistent messages.
- Deliver effective sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Establish/maintain customer relationships; maintain knowledge of disease state, products, competition, and territory.
- Maintain agreed budgets and timelines.
- Align territory growth to business unit strategy using available tactics/resources.
- Solve customer challenges by translating clinical data into patient-specific product clinical attributes.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Total account management; demonstrate total customer engagement and create value by identifying gaps in treatment plans.
- Reduce practice pathway friction using approved materials/programs/resources.
- Maintain and communicate latest clinical/industry/medical data compliantly.
- Monitor sales activity; identify growth opportunities using geography insights (data, stakeholders, payer landscape).
- Organize plan/call routing and execute data-based pre- and post-call plans.
- Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of chronic kidney disease and/or Type 1 & 2 diabetes, treatment guidelines, and competitive landscape.
- Drive appropriate utilization with relevant HCPs (e.g., HF, cardiology, nephrology, emergency medicine, APs, clinic staff).
- Partner with Product Marketing/Management for voice-of-customer/market observations.
- Translate clinical data into patient-specific product attributes.
- Maintain technical knowledge (training, publications, networks).
- Complete tasks on time with quality and compliance; learn/analyze/convey complex information.
- Comply with laws/regulations, company policies, Code of Conduct, privacy/data guidelines, and PDMA Guidelines.
- Participate in meetings, external engagements, training; represent company at conventions as requested.
- Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines; use Marketing/Sales tools.
- Overnight travel may be required.

Education & Experience:
Basic (required):
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales OR Associate’s + 6 years OR HS/GED + 8 years.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Must live within territory boundaries.

Preferred:
- 3+ years selling in complex/competitive environment.
- Prior sales/pharma experience in Endocrinology and/or Nephrology.
- 3+ years pre-existing relationships in existing territory.
- Knowledge of Type 1 & 2 diabetes and nephrology treatment landscape/guidelines.
- Product launch experience; Medicare population experience is a plus.
- Experience with HUBs and specialty pharmacies.
- Medicare coverage determination facilitation or extensive prior authorization experience.
- Healthcare/pharma industry knowledge; understand healthcare regulations.
- Strong sales cycle skills; clinical selling/compliant use of clinical data.
- Documented sales growth; self-motivated/initiative/accountability.
- Prospecting for growth opportunities; strong planning/decision-making.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
