Role Summary
Territory Business Manager to promote OTC Oral Health products to Dentists and Hygienists in the Indianapolis Metro area. Responsible for delivering customer recommendations through effective sales calls, account development, personal rapport, science-based selling, and use of promotional materials to secure customer commitment to Haleon OTC products.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to dental healthcare professionals.
- Work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, changing environment.
- Promote Haleon OTC Oral Care products within the assigned territory.
- Partner with Division Sales Manager to achieve company targets within the territory.
- Own and strategically develop the territory, expanding reach to new potential customers and partnering with other field-based business units.
- Navigate an Omni Channel environment centered on Dental Healthcare Professionals.
- Utilize CRM software (Sales Force, PowerBI, Veeva) to manage customer data and improve engagement.
- Safely store product samples, maintain inventory, and use materials based on customer recommendations in compliance with guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene or Bachelor's degree.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight/weekend travel.
- Must reside in the territory for consideration.
- Preferred: 1+ year of outside dental, healthcare, or B2B account management; strong leadership and performance history; excellent presentation and facilitation skills; ability to build professional relationships; adaptability to changing environments; strategic thinking and creativity; strong organizational and administrative capability; self-starter, proactive; analytical mindset and ability to maintain territory database; ability to identify high-potential dental practices; develop and implement efficient territory routing; clinical/scientific aptitude; demonstrated selling skills; understanding of local healthcare marketplace and trends.
