Responsibilities:
- Achieve commercial objectives in assigned territory aligned with corporate goals.
- Develop, execute, and evolve strategic and tactical territory/account business plans with RBD and internal partners to meet/exceed sales goals.
- Provide timely recommendations to remove/minimize barriers based on marketplace trends, opportunities/threats, competitive information, etc.
- Partner with RBD, Channel/Trade & Market Access, and Sales Reps to create territory-specific strategies to ensure patient access.
- Manage territory budget and resource allocations to maximize ROI.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically to external customers (e.g., hospitals, IDNs, physicians/healthcare providers, local diabetes chapters) and internally.
- Build/maintain relationships and regular communications with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with marketing/training and implement territory initiatives.
- Maintain professional development and leverage internal training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Health Sciences, Business/Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years field commercial experience (or 5+ years bioscience commercial experience).
- Valid US state-issued driverβs license.
- Recent bioscience and/or diabetes experience highly desirable.
- Ability to create/execute business plans; use key data/metrics to improve performance.
- Thrives in ambiguity; strong self-direction, organization, communication, time management, presentation, project management, problem solving, negotiation, influence, adaptability.
Working Conditions:
- Evening/weekend work as needed; travel minimally 20%; vehicle travel as necessary.
Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary range: $85,000β$140,000.
