Territory Business Manager (TBM) for North Carolina West is responsible for maximizing sales of VIVITROL. Ideal candidates live in the territory with limited overnight travel. Uses product, disease-state, and market knowledge and sound selling skills to educate and influence healthcare providers, analyze targets, and apply approved resources.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of VIVITROL, alcohol/opioid dependence, and related marketplace products.
- Use approved sales aids/studies/reprints and strong communication/listening to gain agreement for increased product use; apply the Alkermes selling model.
- Manage the territory by identifying/calling on appropriate healthcare provider targets with required frequency; maintain target lists using latest data.
- Use available resources/programs (e.g., samples, Speaker Programs) to grow the business; discuss territory business with District Business Leader (DBL).
- Develop business plans and complete administrative tasks accurately and timely.
- Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, office supplies, telephone, postage, lodging, meals, entertainment).
- Work effectively with internal partners (other reps, DBL, Managed Markets, Marketing, Key Accounts, HQ personnel).
- Follow promotional compliance and sample accountability policies/regulations.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 1–2 years pharma/biotech/med device/B2B sales experience and/or extensive market experience.
- Must live within the geography of responsibility; valid driver’s license.
- Ability to demonstrate or secure required healthcare provider facility credentialing.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech sales in Addiction Medicine/Mental Health.
- Proven success; strong organizational/administrative skills; strong analytical/strategic/influencing skills.
- Some overnight travel may be required.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable): Annual base salary $120k–$155k; performance-based sales incentive bonus (~$45k annually); eligibility for long-term incentive program; competitive benefits package.
