Territory Account Manager (TAM) β Long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment.
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges/opportunities in target accounts.
- Deliver exceptional sales and service; provide proactive customer service to anticipate and address HCP needs.
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects.
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans to help HCPs scale treatment models and reach more patients.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience.
- Maintain portfolio-based selling mindset; manage internal communication to ensure a cohesive integrated customer experience.
- Deliver/adapt execution plans using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem-solving.
- Develop external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
- Understand and follow compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Escalate issues/risks when needed; act as an agent of change in a launch environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years specialty experience
- Domestic travel as necessary (may include overnight travel; majority of time in market)
- Valid Driverβs License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business/Marketing/Life Sciences
- Strong planning/organization, analytical, business, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience influencing cross-functionally in a matrix environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in complex market access coverage situations
- Experience working with HCPs to procure/manage/administer cold-chain treatment products
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
- Cross-functional experience in an integrated account team model with multiple field-based team members
