Role Summary
Territory Account Manager (TAM) on the long-acting HIV Prevention Sales team. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced, complex environment, working with healthcare professionals to adopt a new approach to HIV prevention, and collaborating cross-functionally in a launch context to deliver integrated account management and a buy-and-bill treatment model.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Results Through Exceptional Sales and Service
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing working with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects
- Prepare and execute business plans tailored to each customerβs needs to help HCPs scale their treatment model
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to deliver an integrated product experience
- Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive internal communication for a unified customer experience
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing HCP problems, needs, and requests
- Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and problem solving
- Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
- Ensure compliance and uphold values-based culture; act consistent with company culture and embrace change in a launch environment
- Escalate issues and risks when needed; demonstrate courage and speak up
- Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS degree
- Required: 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Required: 3+ yearsβ specialty experience
- Required: Ability to travel domestically as necessary; overnight travel may be required, majority of time in market
- Required: Valid Driver's License
- Preferred: Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences
- Preferred: Strong planning, analytical ability, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment
- Preferred: Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Preferred: Experience in sales success in complex market access scenarios
- Preferred: Experience working with HCPs to manage cold chain treatment products
- Preferred: Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
- Preferred: Spanish bilingual (not required)
- Preferred: Experience with integrated account team model and multiple field-based team members
