Role Summary
TechOps IT Analyst - R&D
Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements: Elicit, analyze, and translate complex business needs into technical requirements, advising stakeholders on optimal IT solutions and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
- Technical Integration & Solution Delivery: Lead the development and integration of IT and Lab solutions, collaborating with subject matter experts to establish technical vision and balance usability with performance.
- Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of multiple IT projects, including planning, execution, and communication, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- System Engineering & Troubleshooting: Apply strong system engineering expertise, including knowledge of infrastructure, databases, and operating systems, to troubleshoot complex issues and streamline IT functions.
- Strategic Collaboration & Best Practices: Critically evaluate user requests, network with IT resources to share knowledge and best practices, and provide leadership in developing integrated IT and Lab solutions.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (IT, Operational Technology, Chemistry & Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 years experience in Information Technology or Lab Technology infrastructure support.
- Innovation — Job requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.
Skills
- Ability to accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging. Equally strong oral presentation as well.
- Experience with Elanco established ITIL management tool (ServiceNow).
- Computer System Validation experience.
- Understanding qualification processes/ adherence to those processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing related computer systems and data.

- Some on call work may be needed to support our 24/7 operations
- Position will require exposure to production & R&D areas
