Technology Portfolio Management Director (DTE)
Responsibilities
- Manage Information Security and Data & Software Engineering new technology implementation portfolios
- Maintain technology roadmaps; ensure alignment with strategic priorities and manage resource/capacity
- Develop and manage governance processes for technology implementations to ensure alignment to business requirements, executive sponsorship, and strategic priorities
- Co-develop communication decks for regular portfolio reviews and executive presentations
- Co-facilitate technology strategy and portfolio review meetings with senior leaders
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic thinking, sound decisions, and proactive risk/issue mitigation
- Manage, coach, and train project managers for Information Security and Data & Software Engineering technology implementations
- Communicate portfolio status to DTE leadership and the Senior Director of Project Management and Strategic Operations
- Manage portfolio financials (budget planning, forecasting, accruals)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree with strong biotechnology experience in an IT setting
- 10 years of experience (or equivalent education/experience)
- Minimum 5 years in project, program and/or portfolio management with exceptional organization and planning skills
- Experience managing information security, data, and engineering technology deployments
- Proven track record delivering complex IT projects within timelines and budgets; coordinating cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong leadership and ability to influence/collaborate across organizational levels
- Clear and succinct written and verbal communication preferred
- Hands-on experience managing project/program/portfolio financial components (budgeting, forecasting, accruals)
- Proven ability to mentor/coach/motivate program and project managers
Application/Compensation
- Pay range: $185,400 - $278,200
