QC Sample Management Technician (Cell Therapy)

Shift/Hours:
- 6PM–6AM, 12-hour rotating shift (36/48 hours over a 2-week period)
- Every other weekend, holidays on scheduled workdays, and adverse weather coverage
- Flexibility for irregular hours and short-notice overtime

Responsibilities:
- Handle QC test samples throughout lifecycle (receipt, storage, distribution, transfer, disposal); facilitate cold chain transfers
- Ensure samples/materials are properly labeled; maintain sample tracking, labeling, and chain of custody per regulatory requirements and procedures
- Maintain inventory and distribute QC samples/materials to functional groups as scheduled/requested
- Record performance metrics for the sample management group
- Support identification/implementation of process efficiencies
- Communicate with management on task completion, roadblocks, and needs

Education:
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related science; or high school diploma/GED with 2+ years relevant experience (preferably regulated environment)

Experience/Skills (preferred/desirable):
- Cold chain sample storage/transfer in a GMP regulated environment (desirable)
- Basic electronic systems (email, MS Office)
- LIMS/ELN applications (preferred)
- Light to moderate lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs
- Knowledge of GMP regulatory standards (preferred)
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
- Adapt to changing priorities and conflicting deadlines; work in a fast-paced team; communicate effectively

Working Conditions (US):
- Possible exposure to biohazardous materials and fluctuating/extreme temperatures

Compensation:
- $27.35–$33.14/hour (Devens, MA, US)
