QC Sample Management Technician
Shift/Hours
- 6PMโ6AM on a 12-hour rotating shift (36/48 hours over a 2-week period); every other weekend and scheduled holidays; overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Handle QC test samples across receipt, storage, distribution, transfer, and disposal; facilitate cold-chain transfers.
- Ensure proper labeling; maintain sample tracking, labeling, and chain-of-custody records per regulatory requirements and written procedures.
- Maintain inventory and distribute QC samples/materials to functional groups as scheduled/requested.
- Record sample management performance metrics.
- Support process-efficiency identification and implementation.
- Communicate status, roadblocks, and needs to management.
Education
- Associateโs degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related science; or high school diploma/GED plus 2+ years relevant experience (preferably regulated). Equivalent education/experience may substitute.
Qualifications/Preferred
- Cold-chain sample storage/transfer experience in a GMP regulated environment (desirable).
- Basic electronic systems knowledge (email, MS Office).
- LIMS and ELN experience preferred.
- Able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- GMP-related regulatory knowledge preferred; attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities/deadlines and work in a fast-paced team; effective communication.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Devens, MA: $27.35โ$33.14 per hour (plus possible incentives).
