Role Summary
The Technician - Material Preparation is responsible for executing daily operational tasks as directed by shift leads/supervisors, with a primary focus on material preparation to support filling, dispensing, and formulation processes. This is a night-shift role working 18:00β06:00 on a 2-2-3 rotation. The role requires adherence to safety policies, GMPs, and accurate documentation of activities.
Responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for execution of daily operational tasks defined by the shift lead/supervisor.
- Primary area of responsibility will be focusing on material preparation activities to support filling/dispensing/formulation processes.
- Night shift role from 1800 to 0600 with a 2-2-3 shift rotation.
Qualifications
- Required: Ability to gown and work in controlled classified areas (Grade C and Grade D).
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required: Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal).
- Required: Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Required: Basic digital literacy (desktop software/web browser); training and qualifications documented on a web-based application.
- Required: Must pass a βfitness for dutyβ physical exam.
- Required: Ability to work 12-hour shifts on days (2-2-3 schedule) with additional overtime as needed.
- Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship anticipated for visa status.
- Required: Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, etc.).
- Preferred: Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
- Preferred: Previous experience in operations/pharmaceutical industry.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a Grade C environment.
- Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Preferred: BioWork Certification.
Skills

- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills (batch documentation, SAP, etc.).

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
