Role Summary

Technician - Filling (Night Shift). Responsible for the safe and compliant daily execution of filling activities to produce pre-filled syringes, adhering to CGMPs and contributing to a safe, high-quality, and productive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and CGMPs to ensure product quality.
  • Support leadership on the manufacturing floor to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Proactively monitor documentation and product quality, documenting activities and reporting issues to supervision.
  • Document process tasks in accordance with ALCOA+ principles.
  • Execute material movement, cleaning, part install, line monitoring, and use electronic systems to complete tasks as designated by supervision.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and solve problems; ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule and overtime as needed
  • Required: Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, etc.)
  • Required: Basic computer skills for electronic batch record interface and documentation
  • Required: BioWorks Certificate or equivalent experience
  • Required: Knowledge of CGMPs

Skills

  • Scientific/technical degrees or Certifications (Preferred)
  • Experience with pre-filled syringe technology, solution filling equipment, or isolator technology (Preferred)
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel for training (<5% of the year, Preferred)

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Additional Requirements

  • The position is for the Lilly Research Triangle Park site
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (2-2-3 schedule) and off-shshift for training
  • Ability to travel <5% for training
