Night Shift Floater (8 hours/day). Floats to cover scheduled time off (vacation and scheduled sick time at least two weeks in advance).
Perform Maintenance duties to support production goals while complying with quality standards and safety requirements. Diagnose production/packaging equipment to determine repair needs; perform repairs timely; complete documentation per cGMP and department SOPs; maintain equipment via the preventative maintenance program.
Job Details / Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, organized work area during/at end of shift.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety policies; work safely.
- Perform duties per departmental SOPs and cGMPs; stay current on SOP updates.
- Complete required cGMP and safety training.
- Maintain production/packaging equipment with minimal downtime.
- Assist with set-up and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce defects/rejects/downtime.
- Complete documentation for repairs/maintenance.
- Guide/train less experienced mechanics on PMs, line set-up, and changeovers.
Qualifications:
- Associateβs degree in Industrial Maintenance/Systems/Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics (2β3 years industrial maintenance mechanical/electrical repairs) OR HS/GED (3β5 years).
- Mastery in Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting; proficiency in maintenance methods; experience with multiple industrial equipment types.
- cGMP/FDA regulated environment experience preferred.
Essential skills/abilities (highlights): detail-oriented; English communication; Windows/Microsoft Office; physical ability (lifting up to 40 lbs men / 35 lbs women); read electrical/mechanical manuals; troubleshooting; filling/packaging equipment knowledge; independent work.
