Role Summary

Technical Service Manager - based in Teaneck, NJ (Remote). Part of the Sales team driving demand for PAHC products in the poultry industry by providing expert technical support to customers and solving problems for key influencers across broiler, layer, and turkey sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Phibro Sales Team as part of key account teams to advance revenue and earnings by providing timely, expert, technical information regarding the efficacy and value of Phibro products.
  • Assist in transforming the creation of solutions and customer value.
  • Design vaccine, medicated feed additive, and nutritional specialty programs with customers to maximize performance from Phibro products.
  • Provide the global marketing team with accurate, credible, and current technical information to support commercial objectives.
  • Assist poultry producers in the technical evaluation of production issues and provide logical solutions.
  • Develop, lead, and execute field or research trials to promote the PAHC product lines.
  • Interface with industry decision makers, influencers, and academic/scientific leaders in the US poultry industry to support Phibro products.
  • Attend trade shows, academic conferences, and state poultry association meetings to foster relationships and stay informed on industry issues.
  • Keep management updated on current industry issues and trends.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.
  • Post-graduate or advanced training and/or experience in poultry health preferred.
  • Valid US veterinary license.
  • Experience in broiler, layer, and turkey beneficial. 3–5 years of experience in at least one segment or a combination of segments in the US poultry industry required.

Skills

  • Expert command of poultry health; deep understanding of poultry production, husbandry, and processing.
  • Ability to design and manage meaningful field trials.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and issues in poultry health.
  • Proficient in MS Office and common industry software (e.g., LIMS, Adobe).
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present technical information to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Education

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Location: Territory covers the Mid-Atlantic broiler industry; option to work in layers as well; candidate may reside near a major airport in the region.
