Technical Sales Specialist (Southeast)

Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned territory sales goals for spatial biology capital equipment, services, and consumables to biopharma and academic institutes.
- Build long-term customer relationships; develop and execute regional/territory/account sales strategies.
- Conduct on-site and remote demos; run basic staining assays.
- Support high-quality customer experience with customer support and marketing teams and other stakeholders.
- Attend conferences/customer meetings; present products/applications; help with booth setup and independently plan customer meetings and seminars.
- Demonstrate strong product/application expertise (device and application sides).
- Track field feedback; keep customer management database up-to-date.
- Travel frequently to customer sites (50–80%); remote employees may travel to Swiss/other Bio-Techne sites as needed.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Biology/Life Sciences/Bioengineering/Medicine or related background.
- 3+ years in technical sales in the life sciences research market.
- Entrepreneur’s mindset; resilience and long-term vision.
- Experience with academia/biopharma, especially immuno-oncology/neurosciences.
- Understanding of the spatial biology market; knowledge of IHC, IF, in-situ hybridization (preferred).
- Hands-on lab/testing experience; strong communication/presentation skills.
- Proven Life Science/Diagnostics sales and account management track record; proactive and results-driven.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass MVR check.

- Customer service mindset; ability to forecast and plan territory activities.
- Adaptability, teamwork/collaboration, critical thinking/analytical skills, organization and attention to detail.
- Enjoys traveling; fluent written/oral English.
