Role Summary

We are looking for a Biopharma Technical Sales Specialist with experience in selling and supporting capital equipment and consumables in the immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and tissue analytics research market. The role includes pre-sales and post-sales activities across pharma, biotech, and academia in the US northeast region, expanding the adoption of Lunaphore's technology with strong hands-on technical skills and account management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned territory sales goals
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to drive sales objectives and exceed targets
  • Develop and execute regional, territory and account-specific sales strategies
  • Perform on-site and remote demos and run basic staining assays
  • Work closely with customer support, marketing, and other stakeholder teams to provide a high-quality customer experience
  • Attend conferences and customer meetings to present products and applications
  • Understand technical aspects of the products on both device and application sides
  • Identify and track details and feedback from the field
  • Travel to customer sites frequently (50-80%)
  • Remote employees may travel to the Swiss site for commercial meetings and activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Biology background: Master or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales in the life sciences market
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, long-term vision
  • Experience with academia/biopharma in immuno-oncology or neuroscience segments
  • Understanding of the spatial biology market
  • In-situ techniques such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization are a plus
  • Hands-on with testing assays in a laboratory environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record in Life Science/Diagnostics sales and account management
  • Proactive and results-driven
  • Clean full driving license
