Key responsibilities:
- Perform and/or verify all equipment-related setup activities per SOPs and related instructions.
- Ensure appropriate product-dedicated equipment, kits, tooling, idlers, etc. are utilized.
- Ensure process equipment and change parts are cleaned per procedure and in good repair prior to setup and following batch runs.
- Perform and/or verify required system-related checks (sensor checks, start-up/shift checks/testing) prior to processing; ensure results meet specifications and are within control ranges (where appropriate).
- Monitor run performance via CPPs, KPPs, in-process quality checks/testing, yields, and overall run efficiencies to identify adverse trends/failures.
- Respond to equipment faults/alarms/jams; identify cause, remediate, and make appropriate adjustments.
- Lead equipment problem-solving/troubleshooting with Lead Operator and support groups; ensure required actions to restore operating conditions.
- Assist with equipment PMs and calibrations as needed.
- Participate in defining user requirements for new systems; support IQ/OQ/PQ execution; support creation/review of technical instructions and training documents.
- Provide oversight of training on technical-related production line tasks.
- Provide technical input into events/investigations; assist identifying root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with Engineering Production Support and QA Validation on equipment/control improvements; assist with qualification.
- Participate in technical studies as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties (may serve as backup to Senior Operator/Lead Operator roles).
Minimum qualifications:
- 7+ years relevant experience and a High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Technical degree/certification and 3 years relevant experience preferred (combination of experience/education considered).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $37,000.00 - $80,000.00 USD.
