Technical Accounting Manager

Role: Technical Accounting Manager, focusing on complex accounting areas such as lease accounting under ASC 842, contract accounting, and financial reporting within a biopharma or pharmaceutical context. Responsibilities: lead critical quarterly and annual close activities, evaluate and document complex arrangements, prepare technical memos, and ensure audit readiness. Serve as a technical accounting SME, providing guidance across Finance, Legal, IT, and Tax, including support for international teams. Drive process improvements, enhance internal controls, and support SOX compliance, especially over new business initiatives. Oversee contract review processes, coordinate agreement evaluations, and document accounting conclusions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of Big 4 or industry experience, with strong GAAP knowledge and experience in accounting systems, controls, and financial reporting.
