Role Summary

Talent Acquisition Manager responsible for owning recruiting strategy, planning, and execution across the organization. This role includes sourcing, building a diverse candidate pipeline, managing interview debriefs and candidate feedback, and training managers in recruitment philosophy and strategies, along with project management of recruiting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of open requisitions with evolving prioritization; partner with Finance and the CHRO to ensure accurate approval, tracking, and leveling of roles.
  • Full life cycle recruiting efforts for roles and functions across multiple locations as well as in the field.
  • Design strategies to identify and attract talent; leverage company culture, benefit programs, and development opportunities in materials and communications.
  • Create and deliver messaging to help candidates understand the role, mission, and science; inspire and engage throughout the process.
  • Curate collaborative relationships with hiring managers through routine updates and engagement meetings at the start of each search.
  • Partner with colleagues and external firms to create a great candidate experience; oversee scheduling activities for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Create job offers aligned with the Compensation Philosophy; design competitive packages with input from Compensation and CHRO.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to optimize systems, processes, and practices for Talent Acquisition; contribute to broader HR goals as a subject matter expert.
  • Network and research across the biotech industry to understand trends, identify talent, and recommend opportunities for recruitment activity.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Preferred Experience: Proven success with high-touch, high-volume recruitment from entry level to VP executive level placements;Experience recruiting Life Science candidates in either an in-house or agency setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to work in a startup environment
  • Strong team interaction and communication skills
  • Adaptable and effective in leveraging social media and advanced sourcing tools to find top talent
  • Fluent in the staffing process and adept at optimizing the applicant tracking system
  • Ability to pull and analyze data to inform continuous improvement for all aspects of the hiring process
  • Team player; capable of leading and contributing in a collaborative environment
