Support Specialist responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks of scientific data.
- Generate data tables for scientific reports.
- Review data summaries for accuracy and format.
- Verify data entry into computerized systems for accuracy.
- Generate and review ancillary information (e.g., chromatography) for scientific reports.
- Use electronic publishing software to support submission of scientific documents to regulatory agencies.
- Communicate with project managers to help meet reporting goals.
- Support computerized laboratory systems used in bioanalytical testing.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and advise Bioanalytical employees on software and lab systems.
- Assist in creation of training materials and training activities.
- Perform user acceptance testing and/or qualification testing on laboratory systems.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0–2 years of experience (equivalent combinations of education/experience considered).
- Good communication, research, and writing skills; accurate and detail oriented. Basic understanding of general networking and computing architecture and application lifecycle management desired.
- Advanced computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Visual Basic or similar programming language and instrumentation specialty software highly desired.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry practices and regulations (GMPs, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, MHRA/FDA Data Integrity) a plus.
- Ability to communicate/educate issues and techniques to diverse audiences; work with internal/external teams; strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read/interprete business documents; write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to perform computations (percentages, ratios, rates).
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems using independent judgment and deductive reasoning.
- Physical/working conditions: typical office and laboratory environment; some standing/walking and medium lifting.
- English proficiency required (speaking, reading, writing, comprehending).
