Supply Chain Senior Manager – Global Supply Chain Lead

Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Provide thought leadership in shaping end-to-end product supply strategies, orchestrating long-range and monthly planning cycles, and driving lifecycle management decisions.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities and lead cross-functional Supply Chain Teams to develop mitigation plans to protect continuity of supply.
- Represent Global, Regional, and Site Supply Chain in cross-functional product teams to align on supply strategy, key risks/opportunities, and lifecycle decisions.
- Advise on manufacturing site selection, network evaluations, and business cases using end-to-end supply chain insights.
- Lead/support strategic Global Supply Chain initiatives (acquisitions, integrations, transformations).

Execution:
- Ensure global demand and supply plans align with the agreed product supply strategy.
- Monitor supply and inventory performance vs. targets/guardrails; use metrics/exceptions to drive corrective actions.
- Set/maintain inventory targets/guardrails with manufacturing, network planning, and Finance; balance cost/financial impact with continuity of supply and patient service.
- Maintain end-to-end understanding of lead times, critical raw materials, capacity, and planning assumptions.
- Share/develop best practices across the Global Supply Chain network.

Qualifications
Basic:
- Doctorate + 2 years supply chain/operations (or directly related) OR
- Master’s + 4 years OR
- Bachelor’s + 6 years OR
- Associate + 10 years OR
- HS/GED + 12 years.

Preferred:
- Advanced planning techniques (demand/supply, inventory, financials, manufacturing network planning).
- Excellent communication across management levels; strong cross-functional influence in a matrix.
- Strong digital mindset (tools, data, automation).
- 7+ years in global pharma/biotech/industry; understanding of planning and logistics.
- System-based advanced supply planning and scenario analysis.
- Business analytics; process-oriented leadership; independent problem-solving.
- Knowledge of COGM, COGS, and NPV analyses.
