Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, R&D, and Quality Engineering teams to design, develop, document, and qualify manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical components and subassemblies for surgical robotics.
- Perform gap analysis for manufacturing and test processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report process data.
- Collaborate with external and internal suppliers to support key projects.
- Lead small technical projects and process changes.
- Provide direct support to the OTTAVA program and report into OTTAVA Process Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor of Science; preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Currently in junior/senior year.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- Transportation to and from work daily.
- Demonstrated leadership experience; highly organized; able to prioritize and drive multiple tasks/projects.
- Ability to work individually and on a team; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel).
Preferred:
- Knowledge of DOE, statistical methods, CAD (SolidWorks/Pro-E/AutoCAD), GD&T, failure analysis (fault tree, fishbone), and gap analysis.
- Campus/community service.
Benefits/Pay:
- Expected pay range: $27.00β$61.00 per hour (based on program year, discipline, degree, and/or experience).
- Medical benefits (in accordance with plan terms), sick time (up to 40 hours; up to 56 hours for WA residents), and consolidated retirement plan (pension).
