Role Summary
Supply Chain Associate, Apprentice Program, US, 2026 at GSK. Full-time entry level program for high school graduates and early college students to study towards an associate degree while gaining hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and plan raw materials and pharmaceutical production lines
- Assist with new product introductions, including packaging and shipping
- Learn warehouse operations including inbound raw material and outbound finished product movement
- Understand the complexities of shipping internationally
- Attend daily and weekly performance meetings, with potential to lead meetings
- Help with data collection and analysis to support informed business decisions
- Work on key projects with external contractors
- Progress to take on more responsibility, potentially managing a portfolio of products
Qualifications
- Must have earned a high school diploma or equivalency by June 2026
- High school GPA 2.5 or above (4.0 scale)
- High school Algebra and Geometry or 2 units equivalent of academic math (GPA 2.5+ in each)
- High school English (GPA 2.5+)
- Must have less than 30 college credits
- Must be 18 years of age by August 1, 2026
- Less than 2 years of related work experience since high school
- Willing to enroll at partnering community college in the related instruction course
- Able to commute to the worksite and instruction facility with a maximum 60-minute one-way commute
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency
- College coursework towards an associate degree in supply chain management/Global Logistics Technology (Wake Tech College)
